Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled International Arbitration Lawyer to join our London team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling high-value and complex international arbitrations in the energy, infrastructure, construction, telecommunications, and financial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage disputes over Joint Operating Agreements, construction and off-take agreements for refineries and petrochemical plants, and issues related to rig operations, energy trading, coal, and nuclear power plants.
- Represent clients in multi-jurisdictional disputes, focusing on infrastructure, shareholder, and financial disputes.
- Conduct arbitrations under the auspices of major institutions, including LCIA, ICC, DIAC, Swiss, Stockholm, Hong Kong, and UNCITRAL Rules.
- Advocate for both investors and states in bilateral investment treaties and ICSID cases.
Requirements
- First-class academics and experience within a top-tier international arbitration team in London are essential.
- Proficiency in an additional language is required, with Mandarin being a significant advantage.
About the Firm
Our firm offers a realistic chargeable hours target of 1700, providing a balanced and sustainable work environment.
