Job Title: Experienced Contracts Manager Required for Offshore Wind Project
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced contracts specialist to work on the change management role of a major offshore wind project. The successful candidate will have extensive EPC/construction experience and be able to hit the ground running. This is a contract position offering a competitive rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of changes, including identifying potential risks and issues, developing risk mitigation strategies, and tracking progress against agreed-upon timelines.
- Manage costs through negotiation processes, ensuring compliance across multiple suppliers/vendors/subcontractors.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders, including senior executives, regulators, and local communities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, business, or related field.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as CIPS/NEC3/4, beneficial but not essential.
- EPC/construction experience, contract and commercial experience, and change management experience (+ 5 years).
- Fluent/native English, location: UK/EU, full proactivity, and ability to travel to the North of England and France.
Skills:
- Change Management: Excellent skills in identifying potential risks and issues, developing risk mitigation strategies, and tracking progress.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of contractual arrangements, cost management, and negotiation processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
