The Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

  • Client Relationship Management: Communicate effectively with clients, building strong relationships and trust
  • Service Level Management: Ensure service level meets/supersedes client expectations
  • Team Management: Proactively manage team members
  • Review and Quality Assurance: Perform high standard of reviews/self-reviews. In most cases, be the final reviewer before work goes to the client
  • Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and implement changes
  • Client Profitability: Understand profitability of clients
  • Senior Management Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management
  • Deputy Manager: Deputise for Senior Manager, when required

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this Fund Accounting Manager role:

  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or have equivalent experience
  • Have at least 5 years' experience in fund administration
  • Experience of managing and reviewing work produced by team members
  • Experience of managing and supervising a team
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience using fund administration software
