Water and Environmental Team Opportunity in Southampton

Our client, a reputable UK-based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Graduate Hydrogeologist to join their expanding Water and Environmental Team based in Southampton.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a strong academic background, including a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, and a keen interest in hydrogeology, water quality, and hydrology.

Candidates should reside near Southampton and preferably hold a driving license, enabling them to commute efficiently.

You will become part of a supportive team based in the heart of Southampton, receiving specialist training from an experienced team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conducting hydrogeological impact assessments.
  • Performing water quality analysis.
  • Completing water framework directive assessments.
  • Creating GIS mappings.
  • Interpreting flood risk and drainage assessments.

Additionally, candidates will be required to attend sites accompanied by experienced team members.

This position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, flexible hybrid working, a comprehensive benefits package, company benefits, and opportunities for career progression and training.
