Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Supply Chain Team as a Supply Chain Assistant. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, based at London Road, Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Trade teams across the Derby Homes organisation by ensuring the correct materials are available for each job.
- Carry out material audits to maintain a high level of control over stock management.
- Work in various locations, including Partnership Suppliers, to ensure efficient material management.
- Update the housing repairs system to maintain accurate records.
- Collate large amounts of data for management and job costing purposes using strong Excel skills.
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation, meticulousness, and ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
- Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities.
