Clinical Informatics Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Informatician to join our Research and Analytics Clinical team at EMIS. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance clinical research and patient outcomes.

This is a remote working position with occasional UK office visits required to collaborate with our team and stakeholders.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Leverage the EMIS-X data analytics platform to provide insights from complex biomedical data, electronic health records, patient medication records, registries, and epidemiological observations.
  • Code List and Rule Development: Support internal and external customers with research and decision support services by creating code lists and rules.
  • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that support trial optimisation and real-world evidence opportunities.
  • Data Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality data.
  • Artefact Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of artefacts, including code lists, rule sets, quality assurance documentation, and other data objects.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SNOMED CT, READ codes, and querying databases using SQL.
  • Understanding of DM+D, BNF principles.
