Job Title: Clerk of Works/Surveyor

About Us:

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Clerk of Works/Surveyor to join our team in Cornwall. The successful candidate will oversee repair works on housing where materials have been used incorrectly and need replacing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess the quality of work and liaise with contractors on site
* Hold weekly site meetings to review project progress
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors

Requirements:

* Good general knowledge of building and construction
* IT literacy and excellent communication skills
* Ability to write reports to evidence project progress
* Full UK driving license
