Activity and Wellbeing Lead - Bank
Hourly rate - £11.58 per hour
Hours per week – Bank - Covering sickness and annual leave, including some weekends and evenings
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Activity and Wellbeing Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful activities and occupations to our residents, ensuring their dignity and self-esteem are enhanced through positive relationships and free expression of individuality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on and delivering high-quality meaningful activity for all residents
- Ensuring people living with dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents
- Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
- Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlights of the day
- Creating and maintaining excellent community links
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive forward-thinking approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others. Previous experience in care homes or providing activity is an advantage, but not essential. We offer individual support, guidance, and investment in your development to ensure you have the confidence and skills to deliver high-quality activity and engagement to our residents.
