Paediatric Endocrine Nurse Specialist

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Endocrine Nurse Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic nurse with a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in a relevant area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric endocrinology and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and improve the paediatric endocrine service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Provide specialist advice to patients and staff on complex symptoms and conditions.
- Work closely with community and hospital staff to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Develop and share expertise within the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide effective communication with patients and families, ensuring they are aware of all treatment options.
- Registered nurse on the relevant part of the NMC register.
- Level 7 Post Grad Cert (Min 60 Credits), Master's Degree within relevant speciality or equivalent knowledge.
- Specialist training/Qualification in area of practice.
- Experience of leading learning in practice and supporting colleagues to promote learning.
