Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician to join our team at Tech Connect Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in aircraft components.

The Role:

As an NDT Level II Radiographer, you will be responsible for inspecting aircraft components using x-ray and non-destructive testing techniques to detect sub-surface defects. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • NDT Equipment Operation: Monitor and report NDT data accurately, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Routine Checks: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks on NDT equipment to prevent any potential issues and ensure compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and document equipment issues, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Order Tracking and Management: Manage and prioritize work lists to ensure efficient use of equipment and minimize delays.
  • Quality Maintenance: Ensure compliance with quality system requirements and maintain specific quality criteria to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Instruction Compliance: Follow detailed instructions, routing, and drawings for job setup and operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • NDT Certification: Qualified Level II NDT Technician with a strong understanding of x-ray techniques and non-destructive testing principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring and reporting NDT data.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding of health and safety issues and ability to work in a safe and controlled environment.
  • X-ray Techniques: Experience with x-ray techniques and ability to operate NDT equipment accurately.
  • Procedure Compliance: Ability to comply with routing, drawings, and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Hand Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools such as calipers, depth gauges, and micrometers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, evaluate, and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent communication skills, good PC skills, and strong organizational abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the organization.
