Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Emergency Department Clinical Lead at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional leadership and management to the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive working environment for staff. Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and safe practice
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient safety and experience
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of allocated funds
  • Contribute to the development of the Trust's strategic plan and priorities
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with postgraduate level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in emergency nursing, with senior leadership experience preferred
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with up-to-date training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £65,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
