Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial systems, processes, and strategies that drive business growth.

This is a newly created role within the business where you will have the freedom to design and build financial systems, processes, and to recruit and develop a small finance team. The role encompasses both operational and strategic responsibilities, working closely with the CEO and a highly experienced management team.

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives
• Manage the day-to-day financial health of the business and provide regular financial reports to senior management
• Work closely with the CEO and management team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, customers, and key suppliers
• Oversee payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees

The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified individual (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE in commercial services or manufacturing. You will possess excellent people management skills, be able to communicate effectively across multiple departments, and have a proven track record of driving business growth through financial strategy.
