We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users while managing a team of staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations and ensure that practical support aligns with our service's aims and objectives.
- Manage medication, plan and allocate tasks, cover for senior staff as needed, and contribute to care planning and quality improvement.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels, supervise and train staff, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all service users.
- Participate in staff meetings, maintain accurate records, and uphold our Christian ethos through your work and interactions.
- Ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and are a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- A relevant SVQ level 3 qualification and the ability to complete further qualifications.
- Basic computer skills and a commitment to our Christian values.
- Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
