About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Research Analyst to join our Investment Management team at SEI1GLOBAL. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of quantitative investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Propose and substantiate new ideas; undertake research, validation, back-testing, and production of ESG factors; document and communicate the findings.
  • Automation and Tool Development: Develop tools and strategies for constructing signals.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in managing portfolios, ensure accuracy of all inputs and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Communication and Client Service: Communicate clearly through face-to-face meetings, presentations and written publications; perform literature reviews and keep apprised of sustainable investing research; collaborate with client, operations and research teams.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Quantitative Analysis: Strong background in quantitative analysis and dealing with large data sets.
  • Programming Skills: Experience in a high-level programming language such as Python or R.
  • ESG Experience: Experience with ESG data and familiarity with ESG regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain results and model features to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration Skills: Hands-on attitude: willing to get involved with various projects across the group.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Academic Record: Strong academic record with high mathematical, statistical and computing content.
  • Portfolio Construction Experience: Experience with portfolio construction and factor models.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to manage time across multiple projects and with competing priorities.
