Global Communities Sub-Committee Member

The Global Communities Sub-Committee is a vital part of The Methodist Church, responsible for reviewing and advising on the mission and ministry of Global Communities across the British Connexion.
We are seeking an experienced and committed individual to join our team as a member of the Global Communities Sub-Committee. As a key member of this committee, you will work closely with other members to develop new ways of working across the Connexion and provide advice to the Missions Committee on policies and learning points from Global Communities.
About YouWe are looking for someone with transferable skills, a strong understanding of the Methodist Church in Britain, and experience working with diverse contexts. As a member of the Global Communities Sub-Committee, you will contribute to discussions and decision-making, listen and learn from members of Global Communities, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to:
- Contribute to the development of new ways of working across the Connexion
- Provide advice to the Missions Committee on policies and learning points from Global Communities
- Work collaboratively with other members of the sub-committee
- Listen and learn from members of Global Communities
- Contribute to the discussions and decision-making at meetings
This is a voluntary unpaid position, but some additional expenses can be agreed. We offer a unique opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the vital work of The Methodist Church.
