English Teacher Wanted for Secondary Schools in Nottingham

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team of professionals at TeacherActive. As a leading recruitment agency, we work with a number of excellent Secondary Schools in and around Nottingham who are looking for English teachers for full-time and part-time positions, as well as day-to-day supply work.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English Language and Literature to children aged 11-18. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, and will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English Language and Literature to students aged 11-18
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals
Requirements:
  • QTS specializing in English (early career teachers are also encouraged to apply)
  • At least 6 months of classroom experience
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective English Language and Literature lessons
