We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Liberty. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems
  • Install new equipment as required
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance
  • Undertake PPM (Predictive Maintenance) activities
  • Complete technical and situational reports
  • Report accidents, near misses, and potential hazards
  • Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs
Requirements
  • Relevant commercial gas qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of current gas legislation and regulations
  • Local authority or social housing experience
  • Comprehensive technical skills and extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification
  • Knowledge of major manufacturers, such as Valliant, Powermatic, Riello, and others
  • Good plumbing skills and knowledge of heating systems
  • Full driving license
  • Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
