At Insight Enterprises, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Expert to join our team. As an Environmental Sustainability Expert, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our sustainability goals and reduce our environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental assessments and inspections to identify and evaluate environmental issues and risks.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data to prepare reports and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies to prevent, reduce, or mitigate environmental impacts.
  • Provide environmental training and education to staff and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external stakeholders on environmental matters.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on current and emerging environmental trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, policies, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards, such as ISO 14001, NEPA, and CEQA.
  • Ability to conduct environmental research, analysis, and reporting using various software and tools.
  • Strong networking and people skills, with the ability to exercise diplomacy and build partnerships and consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines.
  • Clear evidence of working in a pressured, time-sensitive environment.
  • Holds relevant professional qualifications.
