Inspection Engineer

**Job Description:** We're looking for a skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Bowmay Consulting in Chester. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality / inspection, a solid foundation in engineering principles, and experience working to ISO quality standards. They will also be comfortable working independently using their own initiative and be computer literate.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting components to ensure adherence to specifications
- Reading engineering drawings and understanding specifications, tolerances and geometric dimensions
- Ensuring compliance to ISO certifications
- Conducting pre-delivery inspection of finished product before delivery to customer
- Liaising with suppliers to address quality issues
- Providing support to manufacturing teams ensuring quality standards are met during production processes
- Routing cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Involvement with ISO audits
- Managing equipment calibration processes
Requirements:
- Experience in quality / inspection
- Solid foundation in engineering principles
- Experience working to ISO quality standards
- Comfortable working independently using own initiative
- Computer literate
- UK driving licence required
