Senior Director, Global Patient Access Strategy & Commercialization
Location:UK (remote working available)
About the role
This role involves driving thought leadership, designing, selling, and delivering de-novo patient access consultancy solutions to meet current and emerging needs of pharma/biotech global market access teams. The role requires high levels of experience in providing senior strategic counsel to clients, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of high-quality content delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Business development with an expectation to create and drive thought leadership and build a portfolio of business with new and existing clients.
- Projects will involve working with senior global/regional market access clients to anticipate and implement solutions and initiatives to ensure fully enabled in-market patient access and commercial pull-through.
- Projects are diverse and bespoke, including phase II health system impact planning, early and late stakeholder belief mapping/tracking, designing and implementing cross-functional access toolkits, and conducting post-launch patient access deep dives and action plans.
- Sell, lead, coach, and be hands-on in the delivery of project work.
- Drive and resilience to juggle multiple priorities, navigate challenges, and develop flexible, innovative course-correction to deliver to client needs profitably.
- Creative flair for cutting through technical complexity to develop high-impact visual communication that sells concepts and ideas.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in specialist market access consultancy with a proven track record across a wide range of global market access consultancy project types and/or global/regional affiliate-facing pharmaceutical market access roles.
- Experience and gravitas to shape and facilitate free-flowing strategic discussions with senior clients and provide robust, well-considered advice to different business challenges.
- Breadth of experience of pharma/biotech commercialization and distribution models in different market access archetypes and in different compliance frameworks.
- Depth of experience in extracting, interpreting, and critical appraisal of complex clinical and health economic data sets to create compelling payer/payer influencer messaging.
- Experienced, supportive team line manager and coach with outstanding work ethic, commitment, and organizational skills to deliver timely, high-quality work.
- Exemplary proficiency in written and verbal English.
