Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workmanship in the maintenance and presentation of rides.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Planned Preventative and reactive maintenance activities within the Rides Maintenance Team to ensure all rides are safe and fully operational.
  • Use initiative to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across rides to support the success of the team and reliability of rides.
  • Ensure checks are carried out to a high standard to allow opening of rides within designated timescales and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
  • Work with the Team Manager to obtain quotes for parts and advise on the ordering of parts as required.
  • Ensure workshops, plantrooms and other areas associated with maintenance are kept to a high standard.
  • Assess, justify and implement processes for improving daily / handover communication within the team.
  • Support the Team Manager in assessing, justifying and implementing necessary training within the team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Previous training in Working at Heights, First Aid, H&S and MEWP / telehandler experience is advantageous.
