Job Title: Assay Development Expert

We are looking for an experienced Assay Development Expert to join our team at Michael Page.

About the Role:

As an Assay Development Expert, you will be responsible for developing, validating and conducting a number of assays and related techniques as part of allocated clinical trials.

The role is based in London, fully on site (Mon-Fri).

Michael Page are a leading clinical research organisation conducting clinical research and ongoing clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate a range of assays with focus on virology-based & cell-based methods (plaque assays, infection assays, flow cytometry etc)
  • Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholder to provide updates
  • Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports
  • Support with writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives

About You:

  • PhD in relevant discipline with a strong background in Virology
  • First-hand experience developing and validating assays in industry
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques mentioned above
  • An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneous, prioritising workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment

Salary & Benefits:

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses.
