Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our client on a permanent basis in Exeter, Devon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the teams and sub-contractors on site, liaising with clients, and supervising the direction of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the site team, including coordinating tasks and allocating resources as needed.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that it is delivered in accordance with the client's specifications and expectations.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in new build housing, with a strong background as an Assistant Site Manager looking to progress into their next role.
  2. Driving licence and own transport.
  3. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  5. Proactive with a strong ability to manage time effectively.
  6. Relevant industry qualifications, including SMSTS and 1st Aid.
  7. Experience working for another volume new build housing developer.
