Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at the Inn at Laurel Point. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of POS systems and payment machines to ensure efficient and accurate ordering and billing.
  • Providing assistance to other outlets with serving, bussing, and table maintenance as needed.
  • Supporting the Duo Café & Bakery team during barista rest periods and meal breaks.
  • Maintaining knowledge of food and beverage menus to deliver accurate information to guests.
  • Effective communication with guests, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Familiarizing yourself with Inn facilities and city attractions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Compliance with Inn policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior serving experience is an asset.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Foodsafe Level 1 and Serving It Right certifications are required.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
