About Ki Insurance

We're a leading provider of risk services, empowering our customers to face the future and thrive. Our global team collaborates to deliver innovative solutions that help our customers not only survive risks but stay on the front foot and keep moving forward.

At Ki Insurance, we believe in seizing opportunities rather than fearing uncertainty. We'd love to help you write your future with us – a future based on progressing and thriving, both professionally and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a pivotal role in developing robust pricing models for each class, enhancing risk selection through data-driven insights. You'll oversee the actuarial enhanced risk review process, regularly review and challenge Technical Pricing MI, and drive performance monitoring through impactful presentations and updates. Your detailed segmentation analysis will identify areas of outperformance or underperformance, informing key underwriting decisions.

In reserving, you'll lead the quarterly reserving study, calculate best estimate reserves, and perform targeted reviews, presenting findings to senior management. You'll support the Actuarial Function and Capital Modelling teams in parameterising the internal model for Underwriting and Reserving Risk.

You'll also contribute to Group-wide projects, support strategic initiatives, and provide leadership within the Actuarial team. Your understanding of business processes and interaction with other departments will be crucial.

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
