About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Coordinator to join our team at a fantastic primary school in Hackney. As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting KS2 students with their academic development and emotional well-being.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the curriculum to small groups of year KS2 pupils, ensuring they are fully engaged and reaching their full educational potential.
  • Monitor the development and progress of the pupils, assisting them with developing a greater level of understanding of the work set out by the teacher.
  • Assist with general TA work, including supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

**Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Experience supporting children with wide range specific learning difficulties and other barriers to learning.
  • Experience of, and confidence with, dealing with a range of highly challenging behaviors.
  • Emotional resilience and motivation by challenge.

**Estimated Salary:** £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (based on 40 hours/week). Inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
