Job Title: Contract PMO Governance Specialist

About the Role:

Crimson is seeking a highly skilled Contract PMO Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery and reporting of various programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor project and program information to maintain project momentum.
  2. Report on project stages to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  3. Analyze project data to provide recommendations for improving project delivery practices.
  4. Manage all assigned projects from initiation to completion.
  5. Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders regarding the planning and delivery of individual programs and projects.
  6. Ensure project buy-in and cooperation while minimizing business risks.
  7. Identify, initiate, and maintain project RAIDs for all projects and programs.
  8. Develop strategies and measures to mitigate or control identified risks, ensuring contingency plans are created and executed.
  9. Create, maintain, and deliver appropriate project management documentation.
  10. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT team members, third-party suppliers, and others as needed to deliver IT projects.

Key Skills:

  1. Extensive experience in PMO governance and project management.
  2. Strong business change and governance experience.
  3. Extensive experience working in a professional services environment.
  4. Previous experience working at a law firm is highly desirable.
  5. P3O or a similar Project Management Office qualification.
  6. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
  7. Strong prioritization skills to manage key priorities effectively.
  8. Excellent skills in problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  9. Proficiency in project planning, estimation, and contract management.
  10. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Experience in program/project coordination and administration.
  12. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  13. Capability to build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders.
