Commercial Disputes Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive Opportunity

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Commercial Disputes Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their team in Plymouth. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading International Legal 100 law firm, supporting clients on bespoke projects.

The Role

You will join a sub-team and provide supervision to a team of paralegals who conduct work for clients across retail, utilities, government, and technology sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing supervision for a team of paralegals
  • Having close client contact
  • Breaking down legal problems verbally and in writing
  • Managing the target for the team and ensuring service level agreements are met at all times

Key Sectors and Claims

The team will be working on a variety of cases, including:

  • Technology: Fraud, overcharging, non-delivery, personal injury, data breaches
  • Utilities: Overcharging, service disruptions
  • Financial Institutions: Withheld funds, KYC issues, lost parcels
  • Retail & Hospitality: Discrimination, defective goods, installation disputes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in commercial debt recovery or consumer claims – defendant or claimant
  • Qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical litigation skills
  • Previous experience supervising or managing volume workstreams is an advantage, but not essential
