Apprentice Quality Assurance Specialist

Streamline Search is acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our client\u2019s team in the metal fabrication industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing processes and final products.
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for monitoring production processes, performing regular audits, and identifying areas for improvement. They will also ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to ISO and other relevant quality certifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, 4 years\u2019 experience in a quality-based role, and sound knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015).
The package includes a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE), 25 days holiday + bank holiday, company pension, free parking, and shopping discounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor production processes and perform regular audits to identify and address quality issues.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to ISO and other relevant quality certifications.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality of incoming materials from suppliers.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure material specifications are met.
Requirements:
- Strong background in engineering.
- 4 years\u2019 experience in a quality-based role.
- Sound knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015).
