Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 pro rata (Actual £24,000 - £32,000)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in GCSE & Functional Skills in English to join our team at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students, developing and implementing curriculum materials, and contributing to the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent standards of teaching and learning across all areas within the curriculum area
- Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, developing and preparing flexible learning materials
- Play an active role in raising the standard and awareness of English across college
- Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum materials
- Participate in marketing of the College, Faculty and Department
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or willingness to obtain
- Has teaching experience, ideally within the FE Sector
