Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as an Experienced Lead Youth Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of group and one-to-one interventions and services that are responsive to the needs of children and young people. This will involve working closely with colleagues and partners to develop and implement effective programs that promote personal and social development, encourage informed choices, and respect and value difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development and delivery of youth programs that are responsive to the needs of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to develop and implement effective programs.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop strategies to address the needs of children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including children, young people, parents, and community groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working with children and young people in a community or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of children, young people, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting children and young people and experience of leading a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
