Job Description: We're currently seeking an Additional Needs Support Staff member to join our team at Veritas Education Recruitment. As a key support staff member, you'll work closely with teachers and pupils in our partner special schools to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils who require additional needs
  • Support teachers in managing challenging behaviour in the classroom
  • Develop and lead activities that promote pupils' physical and emotional development

Requirements:

  • A strong background in care, ideally supporting students from challenging backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year, based on location and experience
