Senior Artist Manager & Record Label Liaison

The Music Market-1 seeks an accomplished Senior Artist Manager & Record Label Liaison to manage our global K-pop talent roster. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive career strategies for assigned Artists, encompassing branding, touring, marketing, and fan engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise closely with Artists, their teams, promoters, publicists, and booking agents as a trusted third party.
  • Negotiate lucrative business deals and contracts on behalf of Artists, collaborating with senior leadership and legal teams.
  • Oversee Artists' schedules in tandem with day-to-day managers, ensuring seamless coordination of training, studio time, rehearsals, appearances, and live performances.
  • Partner with the financial team to optimize budgeting, accounting, and royalty collection processes.
  • Maintain open communication channels between Artists and stakeholders to ensure regular updates are provided.
  • Collaborate with A&R, publicity, marketing, and creative teams to synchronize strategy and execution for Artists.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Artists and label teams to assess progress and align strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of junior managers or assistants.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient understanding of the K-pop entertainment landscape and experience managing a successful K Pop act.
  • Thorough comprehension of record label operations and services, with prior experience interacting with labels.
  • Substantial artist management expertise, preferably with chart-topping acts, ideally within the pop genre.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and execute high-level strategies for Artists, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day operational demands.
  • Strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills, enabling confident meeting leadership and sustained stakeholder engagement.

$80,000 - $100,000 per year
