Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized administrative assistant to support our front-office operations in a Sheffield secondary school. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess prior experience in school administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage calls, handle inquiries, and provide a welcoming experience for visitors.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with data entry, filing, document preparation, and school resource management.
  • Student Support: Help students with questions and direct them to relevant school resources.
  • Internal Communications: Support with emails, notices, and other communications to keep the school community informed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with school management software (SIMS or similar is beneficial).
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to apply.
  • Ability to commute to secondary schools in Sheffield.
