Executive Chef

As a senior member of our culinary team, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house operations. You will champion our team and provide support to the Head Chef, ensuring seamless service delivery.

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at The Goudhurst Inn. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing kitchen operations and delivering high-quality dishes
• Motivating and leading a team of chefs
• Communicating effectively with guests and the wider team
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a senior chef in a premium pub or restaurant
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passion for using fresh, seasonal produce
• Experience of managing kitchen budgets and targets
