TPF Recruitment is supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Canterbury who is seeking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join their successful tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly successful tax team, with a Personal Tax bias. You will have the chance to work in a mixed tax capacity too, if of interest. You will be responsible for supporting a range of clients, comprising of Directors, Sole Traders, Partnerships and HNWI's. You will be given the opportunity to become involved in interesting and challenging advisory, planning and research projects, and there will be excellent support to progress in your career as well as your studies, if required.

Our client is open to candidates of all levels of experience from Semi Senior level, through to Senior level with 2-5+ years experience in tax.

Key responsibilities include:

  • A mixture of personal tax compliance and advisory services, including;
  • Personal tax returns, partnership tax returns, trust tax returns, ERS returns, ATED, P11D/PSA returns;
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries/disclosures, liaising directly with clients and HMRC;
  • Handling any queries;
  • Tax planning, IHT and advisory work;
  • Responsible for an interesting client portfolio.

Requirements include:

  • Experience within an accountancy practice environment, preparing tax returns;
  • Qualification or studying the AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA;
