About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of technology led projects, supporting AJ Bell's strategic objectives. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of complex IT projects, working closely with third-party suppliers to implement hybrid solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of a portfolio of technology led projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Lead the delivery of projects yourself, monitoring progress and providing guidance to less experienced Project Managers.
  • Provide mentorship and line management responsibility to junior Project Managers, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  • Deliver complex IT projects, often working with third-party suppliers to implement hybrid solutions that meet business needs.
  • Coordinate and drive collaboration among project resources to achieve optimal results.
  • Produce and monitor resource forecasts and budgets, ensuring effective change control procedures are followed.
  • Regularly report on project status and health to sponsors and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively manage project risk and dependencies, ensuring no potential risk to consumer outcomes.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation, including Business Cases and Project Initiation Documents.
  • Hold PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM Project Management certification.
  • Have knowledge of the financial services industry, including pensions, investments, and stockbroking.
  • Have strong business and commercial knowledge, as well as planning and organizational skills.
