Our EMEA Energy & Water Resources team focuses on scaling our grid-connected data centers using innovative renewable generation projects and new technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Renewable Generation Projects: Develop and implement innovative renewable generation projects, exploring new technologies to enhance our operations across EMEA.
  • Analyze Power Markets: Systematically assess systemic risks in power markets and work with partner teams to identify effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive Grid Transition: Identify opportunities for AWS to contribute to a cleaner grid, driving growth to support our customers across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Teams: Work closely with Amazon partner teams to develop strategic energy sourcing opportunities.
  • Deliver Cost-Saving Projects: Develop and implement energy innovation projects that reduce costs and are scalable.

What You'll Need: 15+ years of experience in utility/energy consultancy businesses with a track record of delivering projects in power systems and grid infrastructure. Proven understanding of power market design and energy markets. Demonstrated analytical skill set to analyze electrical grid infrastructure systems, energy policies, regulations, and utility tariffs.

Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment.
