About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our home care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in the day-to-day operations of our home care services.
  • Accountable for the delivery of high-quality care to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and ongoing reviews to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance throughout the business.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, ensuring open communication and collaboration across the team.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in the home care sector, preferably in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory responsibilities, including CQC standards and regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, care professionals, and colleagues.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and computer literacy.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to manage own time and be proactive, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
  • Full driver's license.
