We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to students, assisting them in achieving their academic and personal goals. They will also contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs, tailoring interventions to meet their unique requirements.
- Assist classroom teachers in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities, helping to build confidence and self-esteem.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers to share updates and address concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
