ICT Instructor

**Job Description for ICT Teacher Position in North Tyneside**

We are currently seeking an experienced and confident teacher of ICT to join our team in a school located in North Tyneside. The role is a maternity cover and will commence in January 2025, with the position running until the end of the academic year.

To be successful in this application, you must have a strong background in teaching ICT at Key Stage 3-4. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant subject and hold QTS or another recognised teaching qualification in the UK.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, and students.

**Key Requirements:*

• QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification
• Experience teaching ICT at KS3-4
• Degree in a relevant subject
• Experience in the classroom
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards for secondary school teachers in the North East region.
