Job Title: Credit Reconciliation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance team at Regatta Group in Urmston, Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and accurate credit control function, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding debts, and acting as an interface between the company and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present findings of anomalies to the wider business, explaining reasons for inaccuracies and offering solutions.
  • Ensure efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts.
  • Highlight problems and issues as they arise, dealing with unallocated cash and reconciliations of client accounts.
  • Prepare monthly overdue and problem debt reports for discussion with Senior Credit Reconciliation Specialist.
  • Reduce over 60+ day debts and monitor overall credit balances of accounts.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Sales Managers to discuss outstanding debts via Microsoft Teams or face-to-face.
  • Achieve personal and team targets, identifying opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Complete work set and meet time deadlines, dealing with ad-hoc requests with minimal disruption.
  • Adhere to procedures, best practice, and templates relevant to the role.
  • Monitor credit limits in accordance with Credit Insurance and report overdue debts promptly to avoid claims being rejected.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Strong analytical ability, problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with Self Billing Accounts.
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large complex data sets.
  • Accurate forecasting.
  • Timely resolution of sales ledger variances.
  • Communicate variances and offer solutions to stakeholders.
