Job Summary:
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Authority is seeking a highly organized and communicative Water Supplies Administrative Assistant to join our Assets Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling hydrant inspections, coordinating with our Fire Hydrant Technicians, and providing administrative support for our water services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the scheduling of hydrant inspections and share relevant schedules with our team of Fire Hydrant Technicians.
- Forward hydrant defects and schemes to the water companies in a timely manner.
- Act as a main point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- A team player who enjoys working with others.
- Previous experience of carrying out administrative tasks and a competent user of MS Office programmes.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position that requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams and external water companies.
