About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Teacher of Science to join our team at Vision for Education - Cambridge. As a dedicated Science Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to KS3 & 4 pupils, promoting their academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Science to KS3 & 4 pupils, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring seamless student transitions.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to inform instruction and drive student achievement.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of teaching Science to secondary school-aged children, with a strong track record of student progress and achievement.
  • Ability to work effectively with pupils who require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Passion for Science education and commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
