We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in our Brain Injury Service. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our patients during their rehabilitation journey, helping them to maximize their independence and achieve their full potential.

About the Role
We offer a competitive salary of £27,411 per annum, plus benefits. You will be responsible for assisting registered nurses and other healthcare assistants in the delivery of direct care to patients within the ward. Your duties will include supporting patients with all aspects of their personal hygiene care, including washing, bathing, dressing, continence, and mouth care, while enabling them to be as independent as possible.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Prior experience of working in a health or social care support role
  • Qualification to GCSE or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good command of both written and spoken English
  • An ability to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Able to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and nights
