As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment service, working effectively with hiring managers to support and meet our current and future resourcing and talent needs.
This role provides a great opportunity to work with a range of external stakeholders, including schools, colleges, and universities, to help inspire and engage our future talent through various initiatives, such as work placements and internships.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, excellent organizational skills, and a high degree of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and develop the staff requisition process, including job descriptions, talent pools, and recruitment campaigns.
- Collaborate with recruiting managers to develop job advertisements, job descriptions, and interview and selection processes.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent campaigns, including job posting, candidate screening, shortlisting, and interview scheduling.
- Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new recruits, including right-to-work checks and system setup.
- Maintain and develop comprehensive job description databases and repositories.
- Provide interview feedback, manage job offers, and conduct pre-employment checks.
- Manage and develop the Gardline Careers website and social media platforms to drive awareness and engagement.
- Coordinate talent initiatives, including work experience, internships, and talent development programs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in recruitment or a related field.
- CIPD Level 3 or above or equivalent recognized qualification in recruitment or talent management.
- Working knowledge of recruitment systems and databases.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- High degree of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit and collaborative work ethic.
