About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Setter/Operator to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a CNC Programmer Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for creating programs with Fusion360, setting up and operating Haas CNC Mills and Lathes, ensuring the quality of machined parts, and interpreting technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating programs from customer drawings with Fusion360
  • Set up and operate Haas CNC Lathes and Mills to perform various machining operations on a range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and plastic.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and set-up requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges, to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain machine cleanliness, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (preferably Haas)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with precision tools
  • Knowledge of machining processes and quality control procedures
  • Experience using Fusion 360 & Solidworks for CAD and CAM
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
