Job Title: Senior Claims Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Handler to join our Claims team at Howden Group Holdings. As a Senior Claims Handler, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality and efficient claims service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end claims processes, including investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of insurance claims.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and claims procedures to accurately assess and adjudicate claims within established timelines and guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims.
  • Analyse claims data, identify trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risk and improve overall claims management processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, insurers, and industry partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies, coverage types, and claims procedures.
  • Brokerage experience and knowledge of client relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
