About the Job

UK Connect is seeking a Head of Finance to lead our finance team and support the Managing Director with the smooth running of the finance department. This is a permanent position, and we consider full or part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the finance team, reporting to the Managing Director, to ensure robust financial controls are in place.
  2. Oversee month-end reporting, day-to-day Finance Operations, business planning, analysis, and statutory reporting.
  3. Manage and lead the budget, forecasting, and strategic planning process, implementing controls as required.
  4. Partner and support the MD and wider leadership team with pricing, investment, and commercial decision support.
  5. Oversee cash flow planning and management.
  6. Oversee the preparation of the statutory accounts, working with external auditors.
  7. Oversee transactional finance, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and treasury functions.
Requirements:

The successful Head of Finance will have a formal finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience. Strong systems knowledge and experience of a previous ERP implementation would be highly desirable. Excel knowledge to an advanced level is required.
