About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emerson's Green and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes.

As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for performing a range of ophthalmology procedures on patients referred to both services, working in accordance with existing protocols and working practices.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing expert clinical opinion on a range of problems within ophthalmology
  • Demonstrating a high level of skill in the operative and non-operative aspects of ophthalmology management and assessment
  • Performing high volume phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia
  • Providing eyelid surgery and laser treatment
